Lady Gaga is set to become a godparent to Sir Elton's Johns baby boy Zachary after campaigning for gay rights. Elton's partner David Furnish was asked in an interview in America if Gaga would be a godmother and replied: "We haven't publicly confirmed that yet but your sources are very good!" David then praised the bisexual US pop star for her work campaigning for the rights of gay men and women in the States. He said: "She's all about inclusiveness and tolerance. She believes you can be whoever you want to be, we don't have to live in a world of conformity and we can all benefit from individuality. That's the best message in the world - the freedom to be who you are, do what you want and love who you want to love." Elton, 63, and David, 48, who took Zachary to Hawaii this week, are said to have also chosen lesbian US media couple Ingrid Sischy and Sandy Brant as godparents to Zachary, born at Christmas to a surrogate mum. The doting parents will make an official statement soon.
